Omega 146.012 “Chronostop” – Blue Dial – Calibre 930 – Vintage – Steel Bracelet
For sale is an Omega reference 146.012, often associated with the Chronostop family due to its styling, case shape, and period of production. This example features the highly desirable blue dial, making it one of the more attractive and uncommon versions of this vintage Omega chronograph line.
Produced in the late 1960s/early 1970s, the 146.012 houses the respected Calibre 930, an automatic chronograph movement from Omega’s golden era. The watch is in excellent vintage condition: the stainless-steel case maintains its original lines, showing only light, honest wear, and the blue dial is beautifully preserved with vivid color, sharp print, and no major flaws. All chronograph functions work properly, and the movement runs reliably.
Key characteristics of the 146.012 “Chronostop”-style chronograph:
Rich blue bi-compax dial with date at 3 o’clock
Applied Omega logo and period-correct details
Robust stainless-steel case with the iconic late-60s/70s silhouette
Domed crystal and clean vintage design language
Distinctive Chronostop family aesthetic, yet rarer than the standard models
This piece is offered on its stainless-steel bracelet, completing the authentic vintage look and providing excellent wrist presence.
Included in the sale:
Omega 146.012 “Chronostop” – blue dial
Stainless-steel bracelet
Blue-dial examples of the 146.012 are increasingly hard to find, and pieces in this condition are highly collectible. Please feel free to contact me for additional photos, wrist shots, or movement pictures. Serious inquiries only.
